3rd Grade Team Student Summer Maintenance
June 5, 2020

Dear Mullen Families,

Summer vacation officially begins on June 15, 2020. Thank you for a wonderful school year of teaching and learning. Due to the early close of school because of the Covid-19 protocols, we encourage regular practice over the Summer in reading, problem solving, computation, and math facts to maintain and strengthen academic gains made over the school year.  Your child’s continued practice will make an easier transition for them into 4th Grade in the Fall. The Third Grade Team decided that a Choice board of learning lessons will not be provided during the last week of school in an effort for students to explore and become familiar with the Summer resources provided by your Third Grade teacher. The goal is for every student to have fun thinking and working collaboratively with family members while communicating his/her reading and mathematical ideas. Enjoy the numerous packets and have a restful, relaxing, and safe Summer.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Bendele, Ms. Donelan, Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Noonan, Ms. Ulrich and Ms. Williamson
